The Northern Ontario Region had a great Fun Day on August 22nd. The weather co-operated and we enjoyed a glorious day. Our event was well attended and enjoyed by everyone who came out with their Newfoundlands. The resident Labrador Retriever also showed up for the occasion. All the Newfs loved their smaller cousin. A big thank you to Alan and Diana Plourde, who opened their home, and special thanks to Alan who manned the barbeque. Everyone contributed by bringing various salads and treats. Happy winners claimed their prizes and the specially designed cake that Diana presented, was a big hit. As always we look forward to next year’s Fun Day. The next thing on our agenda is a Fall Walk with our dogs at a local Provincial Park. This is the time of year to get out and enjoy the beautiful leaves with their fall colours.
