I'am in Newfoundland now from holland, and it is very difficult to find breeders in Newfoundland itself. I hope that you can update your website for breeders in Newfoundland .You have a lovely site and the comments for loving our breed and taking a Newfy for a pet is great. I have two beautiful ones at home in Holland and how you discribe the grooming and taking care of is excellent. When you do that you have a beautiful and great dog. My dogs are going to school with me(special aidchildren)and they are very comforable with the children.

Also Dudek and Rocha like to be a savibg dog and love to sit in and out the boot and helping them tot the shore. greetings Terenia Barczyk from Holland.

Can you please revise your standards? this is ridiculous..

I have a 4 year old female Newfy, named Mini (after my wife's car). She is the best friend and companion I have ever had! I travel for business, and when I'm away, the first day she mopes around the house... missing me! Poor Baby! She is great with 2 year old children and our little Shih Tsu, BFF ha. Thanks so much for running this site. And OBTW, the picture above sure looks like her at 1 year old!

Hello I wanted to let you know I came apon your site through Coffey Cove Kennels site.I very much injoyed all your info & pictures. I'm owned by 2 Newfoundlands. Beowulf 4 & Buoy 1. I will never own anotheer breed. They are such sweet & gentles breed. I have a 6 yr. old son who has seizers & when my son was 3 we bought Beowulf. With no training just his love for us as his family. He's able to alert my son when he's about to have a seizer and that at this age -almost 7- allows him if playing outside on a hard surface to get to the grass or Beowulf will lay on the ground to ease his fall. My eye's are welling up just typing this to you. We LOVE our Newf's. They are my children just like my hunan ones. Thank you again for such a nice site.We belong to New England Newfoundlands as well as South Coast Newf's. We live in Brooklyn,CT. Thank you, Larissa & Crew

I WAS BROUGHT UP WITH NEFS. THEY WERE BOTH CHAMPS. THEY HAD ONE LITTER. THE MALE WAS CALLED DUKE AND THE FEMALE WAS PATTY. THEY WERE BORN ABOUT 1934. IS THERE ANYWAY OF FINDING IF THERE BLOODLINE IS STILL WITH US. I KNOW THIS SEEMS SILLY, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.
